At approximately 2:30 pm, CFS was alerted to reports of a truck fire on the Eyre Highway, Kimba, in the Australian state's North West. Upon arrival, CFS crews found the cabin of the truck fully alight. The truck, transporting a hydraulic drill was destroyed, with the damage bill estimated to be around $100,000. At approximately 2:45 pm, CFS crews were alerted to a structure fire on Mulga Place, Fregon, in the state's APY Lands.
