Dr Ian Greatbatch

Dr Ian Greatbatch FRGS FICPEM MEPS FISTR is a serving Junior Officer in a large UK Fire Service and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Portsmouth. He specialises in Spatial Analysis and his PhD was in Mountain Geography. He has written extensively about Fire & Rescue and Search & Rescue Operational Effectiveness, and related subjects such as water safety, UAVs and the effectiveness of search dogs. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Search and Technical Rescue.
