QUIC-FLIP unit: Store self-contained breathing apparatus on any flat shelf?out of the way until needed for donning SCBA. Pull the release pin to rotate the unit 90 degrees from the stored position. Pull another pin and the unit drops down to the donning position. Flips are preset to swing left out of the stored position. The basic flip is 7-3/4" square. With the WALKAWAY bracket (ordered separately ) mounted, the length is 23". Collapsed (at rest point) height of the unit is 2-1/4". A pair of rectangular (1" x 2" ) spacer blocks are supplied with each holder. The spacers raise the WALKAWAY bracket either 1" or 2" above the faceplate as required to miss the edge of compartment or over seat cushions.
