Vikings Freedom® Model VK470 Residential Pendent Sprinkler is 3.0 (43) K-factor recessed pendent that is optimal for any residential fire sprinkler system where the available water supply is a concern. Its smaller K-factor and low flow and pressure requirements may provide cost savings by enabling reduced pipe sizes, a smaller meter, or even the elimination of a tank and pump. The VK470 is cULus Listed for 12 x 12 ft (3.7 x 3.7 m), 14 x 14 ft (4.3 x 4.3 m), 15 x 15 (4.6 x 4.6 m), and 16 x 16 ft (4.9 x 4.9 m) room sizes. In each of these coverage areas, the VK470 provides the lowest possible flow rate for NFPA 13D and 13R residential systems requiring a 0.05 gpm/sq. ft. density design.
