The TFT Hurricane is a durable, high-capacity industrial fixed monitor with low friction loss characteristics. The silver powder coat finish (inside and out), and stainless steel worm drives allow the Hurricane to withstand tough service environments. The large 3.25" (83mm) waterway will deliver up to 1250 gpm (4750 l/min). Only eleven (11) turns of the handwheel are necessary to change from vertical to the horizontal elevation setting. A built-in automatic drain protects the monitor from freezing. The placement of grease zerks allows the Hurricane monitor to be quickly and easily serviced and lubricated, and a threaded port 0.25" NPT (6mm) is provided for a pressure gauge. 2.5" male NH (64mm) outlet threads are standard. 2.5" male BSP (64mm) threads available on request.
