Robert McBride Ltd of Hull was sentenced on 7 April for safety breaches after a 31-year-old worker suffered 13% superficial burns to his right arm and hand following the ignition of flammable vapors at the company’s site. East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) is pleased to announce that from Monday (11th April 2022), EEAST will be alerting GoodSAM responders to patients within a 2 mile radius. EEAST has many rural areas, which are difficult to get to. By increasing this radius it will increase the chances to notify more GoodSAM responders of patients in cardiac arrest. For GoodSAM responders who live and work in more urban areas, there is a manual override.
