At 3:30 pm on Feb 26, 2021, the Branchville Volunteer Fire Company’s E811 pumper vehicle was alerted for a structural fire incident on the 14200 Blk Jib Street, in Laurel, Maryland. On February 17th, E811 was dispatched as 4th due engine for a reported apartment fire in the 14800 block of Fourth Street in Laurel. E811 arrived as the 3rd engine, and requested through command to operate as such. E811 operated on the floor above the fire checking individual apartments for extension, while also supplying additional water to the standpipe system. VC811 was on the fire floor, managing fire suppression. Both units operated for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
