Hercules CAFS. Uses Pierce-designed oil-flooded, rotary-screw type compressor rated at 200 cfm at 150 psi. Compressor powered by vehicle transmission through a clutch-type PTO. PTO: 10-bolt SAE type mounted to customer-specified Allison transmission. Torque rating exceeds system demands b y a minimum of 20%. Air/Oil Receiver Tank constructed from stainless steel - easy access to fill opening and level sight gauges. Lubricant Filtering: 25 micron rating; safety bypass valve; spin-on type filter; thermostat valve routes lubricant to oil cooler to maintain compressor temperatures within recommended limits.
