Scott Starr

Scott Starr is pre-engineered product manager for global manufacturer Firetrace International, the world leader in special hazard fire detection and suppression systems. He has 15 years’ experience in the fire suppression industry and, with an MBA in marketing and management strategy, has been closely involved with the company’s marketing activities in addition to his product management role. Throughout Scott’s career at Firetrace he has been directly involved with the development of pre-engineered fire suppression systems and defining their application, and in more recent years has extended his knowledge to the design and application of engineered clean agent systems. He is a member of the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Technical Committee for Standard 45: fire protection for laboratories using chemicals, actively working to achieve best practice in fire safety standards.
