Top Winners At Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2024

The 25th annual Security & Fire Excellence Awards took center stage at the prestigious JW Marriott Grosvenor House, in London, UK, on Monday, 2nd December, 2024. The event recognized the outstanding achievements of professionals and organizations in the UK security and fire sectors, with a strong showing from NSI-certified companies among the winners and finalists. With an emphasis on innovation, inclusion and sustainability, this milestone year for the Awards continued to set a benchmark for celebrating the exceptional contributions and inspiring efforts of those in the private security sector who tirelessly work to help keep the communities safe. This recognition reinforces the rigorous and transparent judging process that underpins the event’s reputation. NSI Hosts Women In Security Awards 2024 At Shakespeare's Underglobe In London, UK

London’s iconic Shakespeare’s Underglobe Theatre set the stage for the much-anticipated Women in Security Awards 2024. With places booked months in advance, the event was filled, bringing together outstanding women from diverse roles across the security sector.   Talent and dedication Organized annually by Professional Security magazine in collaboration with patron - Una Riley, the Women in Security Awards are widely regarded as a prestigious platform celebrating the achievements, contributions, and exceptional leadership of women in the field. 2024’s ceremony was no exception, showcasing the extraordinary talent and dedication that women bring to the wider world of security.  Celebrating achievements NSI is proud to celebrate the achievements of those representing NSI-approved companies Once again, the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), the UK's premier certification body for security and fire safety providers, was a proud sponsor of the awards. NSI extends its congratulations to all of the winners and finalists. NSI Appoints Alaster Purchase As Chief Operating Officer

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alaster Purchase as its new Chief Operating Officer. Richard Fogelman, NSI Chief Executive, stated, “I am very excited to welcome Alaster to our senior management team. His appointment underscores our continued commitment to upholding the gold standard in security and fire safety certification.”  Alaster Purchase Recently, as Chief Operating Officer for GS1 UK, and latterly as Corporate Marketing Director for a Panasonic company, Alaster has brought over 30 years of experience in the software and services industry, heading highly successful growth and transformation strategies.  Commenting on his new role, Alaster said, "I am delighted to join the NSI team and consider it an honor to work with such talented people and a brand that’s unsurpassed in the industry." Outside of work, Alaster enjoys mountain biking and road cycling. He is also an active member of the Lions Club of Windsor, a community services-based charity, where he has previously served as President.
