On 10 July 2024, it was officially announced in the Dutch government gazette - Staatscourant that Kiwa subsidiary - Vinçotte has been designated as a certified body for nuclear inspections in the Netherlands for the next two years. This designation allows Vinçotte to conduct inspections for nuclear pressure equipment during all phases of the inspection process, including design, commissioning and operation. Kiwa UK has announced the acquisition of International Fire Consultants (IFC Group), a specialist in fire safety consultancy, delivering advice and expertise to a wide range of professionals across the built environment. The acquisition of IFC adds a new service line to Kiwa's existing TIC suite of services in the UK. With Fire Safety playing a big role in the Kiwa Global identity, the acquisition creates new connections with other Kiwa countries, as well as having a significant crossover with many established services in the UK. Euralarm has welcomed its first associate member: Kiwa, a trusted and proven partner in the field of fire safety and security. The autonomous global company is specialized in testing, inspection, certification, training and consultancy services. The associate membership is a result of Kiwa’s Fire Lab, located in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, that opened less than a year ago.
