Chief Dennis Compton has been a member of the fire service since 1971, rising through the ranks to become Assistant Fire Chief of Phoenix (AZ) Fire Department and later Fire Chief of Mesa (AZ) Fire Department. He has served in many roles throughout his career, including author, advisor, instructor, and mentor. He has also served as Former Chairman of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) Board of Directors.
