The situation around the COVID-19 pandemic spread is increasingly influencing the daily work and life of everyone globally. The situation also affects ZIEGLER (also known as Albert Ziegler GmbH) as a vehicle manufacturer to such an extent, that the company is forced to take further safety measures.

Several suppliers from different countries have already been struggling with delivery problems and bottlenecks in production, which of course has direct impact on the production process.

ZIEGLER closes Giengen facility

ZIEGLER (Albert Ziegler GmbH) in Giengen will remain closed from April 6th, 2020 until April 19th, 2020

In order to be able to process the upcoming projects in 2020 in the best way possible, they have decided to bring forward the annual closing planned for August to April 2020. This basically means that ZIEGLER (Albert Ziegler GmbH) in Giengen will remain closed from April 6th, 2020 until April 19th, 2020.

To maintain the most important functions, an emergency service will continue to be available for customers and partners by telephone in the departments of Service and Sales. As usual, customers will be connected to the responsible contact person at the company official telephone number. The receiving area will also be maintained.

Rendsburg equipment shop to remain open

Due to COVID-19 pandemic spread situation and a possible limitation of capacities, production bottlenecks and thus, postponements of delivery dates may also occur owing to the unpredictable circumstances globally. There may also be bottlenecks at ZIEGLER’s domestic and foreign subsidiaries as well. Furthermore, the company’s equipment shop in Rendsburg will remain open for customers.

The world is currently in an exceptional situation, which makes further planning and execution of deliverables extremely difficult. Due to the continuing dynamic development, ZIEGLER said that they reserve the right to further limited capacities after the annual closing.
