ZIEGLER has announced delivery of the vehicles number 49 and 50 from the second purchase order of Hessen of about 50 emergency vehicles, LF 10 KatS. These vehicles were handed over to the fire brigades of Eschenburg/Eibelshausen and Herbstein (8th collective order by the county of Hesse), at the headquarters of the ZIEGLER Group, in Giengen, Germany.

LF 10 KatS emergency vehicles

Since 2012, ZIEGLER has already delivered 100 LF 10 KatS emergency vehicles in total to various fire brigades in the county of Hesse, Germany. The contract was awarded by the Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Sport, in Wiesbaden, during a collective order.

In the period, from 2012 – 2014, Ziegler had built and delivered 50 LF 10 KatS (7th collective order by the county of Hesse) vehicles from the first purchase order on Mercedes Benz Atego 1222 AF chassis.

MAN TGM 13.250 4 x 4 BL chassis

The contract for a new order for up to 60 vehicles has been awarded to ZIEGLER again

The 8th country collective purchasing order was executed in the period from 2014-2017. As per the order, ZIEGLER was also to deliver 50 vehicles on MAN TGM 13.250 4 x 4 BL chassis. The company’s employees are ready for the manufacturing of the 9th collective order by the county of Hesse.

The contract for a new order for up to 60 vehicles has been awarded to ZIEGLER again. The construction work approval of the first vehicle was done on the 3rd of April, 2017, with the delivery of the 101st vehicle planned for summer of 2017. The remaining vehicles will be then gradually completed and passed to the individual fire brigades in the county of Hesse.

Vehicles built on Mercedes Benz Atego 1323 AF chassis

The production of vehicles for the 3rd collective order extends over the years 2017 to 2019. These are built on Mercedes Benz Atego 1323 AF chassis. The basic scope of the vehicles is always the same. According to customer requirements, options have been made possible and implemented within the framework of the series production.
