Big response to ideas competition
Bright ideas competition for firefighting "wizards", run by trade journal "Feuerwehr-Magazin"

The bright ideas competition for firefighting "wizards" run by trade journal "Feuerwehr-Magazin" has elicited a huge response.

With over 150 entries coming from Germany and abroad, the journal's editor-in-chief, Jan-Erik Hegemann, is delighted with this "phenomenal result." A jury of experts has now examined and evaluated all the ideas. The eight best will feature in issue 1/2010 of the GFPA journal ("Zeitschrift für Forschung und Technik im Brandschutz vfdb") and in "Feuerwehr-Magazin".

During INTERSCHUTZ 2010, the readers of these journals and visitors to the fair will vote for the firefighting "Wizard of the Year."

The winner will be presented with a special award on the closing day of the fair (12 June, 2010).
