First Alert will showcase its new Rescue Mat at booth #6035 at FDIC. This cost-effective, time-saving product helps firefighters and rescue workers save critical time in water and ice rescue operations.

Measuring 25 ft in length, 5 ft in width and 2 inches in thickness, the highly durable Rescue Mat can hold more than 1,000 pounds on open water. With no inflation required, Rescue Mat can be deployed in seconds, allowing teams to save critical time that is so precious in water rescue operations.

Rescue Mat is constructed with an ultra-buoyant proprietary foam core reinforced with heavy-duty polyethylene woven fabric outer covering that enhances surface grip. For storage, Rescue Mat can be rolled up and placed on its side. The rolled mat measures 5-feet tall and 3-feet in diameter and weighs 55 pounds. It is packaged in a Velcro-fastening carrying case for quick transport from the vehicle to the point of entry.

The product will be sold during FDIC at a special introductory price of $2,499. Rescue Mat also is available through First Alert's Fire Services Program.
