The German Datacenter Association eV (GDA) was founded in 2018. The association is committed to the needs of data center operators.
The GDA aims to improve the perception of data centers in politics, business, and society and to increase investment attractiveness within Germany. The headquarters of the German association is in Frankfurt am Main.
German Datacenter Association
The German Datacenter Association currently has around 100 members; operators and owners of data centers of all sizes. Wagner has been an active partner of the GDA since 2022 as the only fire protection company, which allows it to position itself as an innovative solution and system provider in this industry.
The GDA also offers Wagner ideal conditions for networking and exchanging ideas in various working groups. Data centers make an essential contribution to the economy and society. However, their high energy consumption and rapid growth are repeatedly the focus of public discussions.
sustainable data center economy
The German Datacenter Association has, therefore, set itself the task of showing perspectives for a sustainable data center economy by 2030. A top topic that is also at the top of their agenda.
Through Wagner's involvement in the GDA, it wants to enter into dialog with members and explain why its innovative, holistic, and sustainable fire protection solutions make a significant contribution to climate and environmental protection and how we support data center operators in achieving their sustainability goals.
