As part of its growth offensive, the fire protection solution provider WAGNER founded its subsidiary in Poland in 2008.

WAGNER Poland Sp.zo.o. is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and can already look back on numerous major fire protection projects.

fire-related damage

Ireneusz Bruski has been responsible for the subsidiary as managing director for more than 4 years. His main focus is on implementing the WAGNER corporate strategy in Europe for the sales areas of Poland and the Baltic States.

"Regardless of industry or business area, the protection of goods, assets, processes, people, and the environment from fire and fire-related damage is important to all companies and institutions," says Bruski.

warehousing and logistics sector

Poland has developed into an important center in particular due to its geographical location and well-developed transport

"Our customers very consciously choose the best solution for fire protection. Thanks to our extensive system portfolio from fire detection to active fire prevention through oxygen reduction, we protect companies holistically with the solutions we have developed," says Bruski.

In recent years, Poland has developed into an important center for the warehousing and logistics sector in Europe. The reasons for this are in particular its favorable geographical location and well-developed transport infrastructure. Increasing investments, automation, modernization, and the e-commerce boom favored by the pandemic have led to considerable growth in the logistics industry.

Holistic fire protection

The managing director of WAGNER Poland therefore sees a significantly increased need for fire protection solutions in the area of compact and highly automated logistics, "Holistic fire protection is essential here in particular, as the electrics in automation systems and the extreme density of goods pose an increased fire risk."

"WAGNER Poland has now become a valued partner for many in the industry. Our OxyReduct ® and early fire detection systems are now used in many large, internationally known companies." Well-known companies and institutions are also among WAGNER Poland's customers and partners beyond logistics.

complete plant conversion

Ireneusz Bruski is particularly proud of his dedicated team, "My colleagues sometimes overcome considerable organizational challenges."

"In one case, for example, we were able to complete a complete plant conversion as part of the expansion from one to two warehouses within 12 hours - and thus protect the affected areas without any lengthy downtimes."

successful development of the Polish subsidiary

Andreas Schober, Head of Europe at WAGNER Group GmbH, looks back on the successful development of the Polish subsidiary, "In addition to Poland, WAGNER Poland also serves the Baltic states, thus covering the north-east axis in Europe that is important to us."

"Ireneusz Bruski and his team have consistently achieved excellent results in this emerging growth market. In the last four financial years alone, the company has recorded an extraordinary increase in operating profit of 210%.

company, people, and environment protection

Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner, founder and managing director of the WAGNER Group, is delighted with the great commitment and growth of the subsidiary.

"WAGNER Poland is an important pillar for us in the European market. The company makes an important contribution to the successful development of our group of companies and, of course, to the protection of companies, people, and the environment. Congratulations on your 15th birthday to the entire team."
