Modular and compact fire prevention: At LogiMAT 2017, WAGNER presents the P-Line, the latest generation of the oxygen reduction system OxyReduct®.
The WAGNER Group GmbH has now launched a new generation of its pioneering oxygen reduction system OxyReduct®: the OxyReduct® P-Line. The P-Line combines the principle of efficient nitrogen production on-site using activated carbon with a uniquely compact design, low noise emissions and a modular system concept with a wide performance spectrum.
OxyControl control system
OxyControl control system with encrypted access helps a wide overview of the plan status via remote diagnosis
The operator receives a very space-saving and flexibly adaptable fire protection solution that actively minimizes fire hazards right from the start. The OxyControl control system with encrypted access enables a comprehensive overview of the system status via remote diagnosis.
With this approach, WAGNER fits in perfectly with this year's motto of the 15th LogiMAT "Shaping change: digital - networked - innovative." The fire protection expert will be presenting these and other highly efficient solutions from March 14 to 16 in Stuttgart.
Active fire prevention system
The WAGNER Group GmbH has been the technology and market pioneer for oxygen reduction systems for around 20 years. Especially in high-value and process-sensitive areas, the active fire prevention system OxyReduct® protects against fire-related loss of goods and investments as well as against expensive operational interruptions or failures.
WAGNER's tailor-made fire protection solutions now ensure preventive protection against fire hazards in over 1,000 warehouse and logistics companies worldwide.
Required for oxygen reduction
The nitrogen required for oxygen reduction is generated on-site from the ambient air as required
Customers such as Imperial Automotive Logistics GmbH, Preferred Freezer Services, New Cold Advanced Cold Logistics, apetito and Kern & Sohn rely on active fire protection using oxygen reduction.
This technology is based on the clever approach of preventing a fire from starting in the first place. To do this, the oxygen content in the area to be protected is permanently reduced below the ignition limit of the materials predominant there and kept at this level in a controlled manner. The nitrogen required for oxygen reduction is generated on site from the ambient air as required.
OxyReduct ® P-Line as individual as their requirements
The new P-Line supplies nitrogen quantities of 20 to 400 m³/h per generator for medium to large applications and can be cascaded to save space in order to achieve outputs of up to 1,200 m³/h or redundancy requirements.
The development work also focused on an easily transportable and installable system, the height of which is based on the size of standard doors. Depending on the usage behavior in the logistics property, the protection concepts can be varied and the nitrogen output can also be scaled later. This is because, especially in logistics areas, the nitrogen requirement can change due to the level of protection, for example if storage and retrieval increases or a warehouse expansion is planned. Here the system can be flexibly expanded to meet the future requirements of the operator.
Energy-saving OxyReduct® technology
WAGNER offers an energy-saving OxyReduct® technology with Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption
For projects with very large volumes of space, WAGNER offers an energy-saving OxyReduct® technology with Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption. The physical separation of oxygen and nitrogen from the ambient air takes place in activated carbon containers that operate at low process pressures.
Under certain conditions, energy consumption for the production of one cubic meter of nitrogen can be reduced by up to 80% compared to conventional nitrogen extraction technologies. This enables operators of large storage facilities to make significant savings in operating costs.
Advantages of WAGNER's active fire prevention system
With OxyReduct®, WAGNER offers a proactive system that takes action before a fire starts or spreads. In addition to personal protection, the highest priorities are maintaining logistical processes and delivery obligations as well as protecting goods and investments.
500 employees at 18 locations worldwide ensure that WAGNER's fire protection solutions are tailored to the individual needs of customers with dedicated research and development work, planning and project management, plant construction and maintenance as well as 24-hour service. Trade visitors can see the OxyReduct ® principle for themselves: at the WAGNER stand, Hall 3, stand number 3D79.
