Fire protection technology

The conference also serves as an ideal platform for exchange and networking

The conference, which is organized by EUSAS eV (European Society for Automatic Security Systems), is aimed primarily at representatives of the fire protection and security industry, test houses, standards developers, practitioners and scientists who are interested in fire protection technology as well as fire alarm and system technologies.

The aim of the conference is to give participants an overview of the latest state of the art, current developments and future trends. The conference also serves as an ideal platform for exchange and networking.

Early fire detection

The conference was divided into four different sessions. The first and third sessions of the conference looked at current research projects with a particular focus on early fire detection. The second session then dealt with, among other things, testing according to EN 54-27 and the calibration of optical smoke detectors. Florence Daniault and Dr. Oliver Linden gave presentations on these topics.

On the second day of the conference, the contributions in the fourth session focused primarily on topics of standardization. A highlight of the second day of the conference was definitely the final tour through the WAGNER World and the presentation of the products.

Participants had the opportunity to take part in live demonstrations of fire tests in order to learn more about innovative fire protection.
