The WAGNER Group, based in Langenhagen near Hanover, can once again report pleasing company growth. With a consolidated total group output of EUR 138 million, the company achieved growth of EUR 14.8 million or 12.0% in the 2023/24 financial year compared to the previous fiscal year.

The company was thus able to master the current market challenges - high inflation, rising energy costs and ongoing market uncertainties - by making targeted adjustments to the changed framework conditions and successfully maintaining and further expanding its market position.

Holistic fire protection solutions

The family business, which can already look back on its 48-year history, has been growing continuously for years and currently employs around 800 people worldwide, 120 of them outside Germany. A key driver of the company's positive development is internationalization, which WAGNER is pursuing strategically and consistently. The export quota is currently around 50%, and the trend is rising.

The most important export nations for WAGNER are currently the United Kingdom, Austria, the USA, and India. In the 2023/2024 financial year, WAGNER founded two new subsidiaries: WAGNER Fire Safety India and WAGNER Fire Safety DMCC in Dubai are opening up local markets with holistic fire protection solutions. Initial market successes have already been recorded in India.

Areas of fire detection and fire prevention

The company is also focusing on new needs resulting from the increasing digitalization in firm and society

The results also show that WAGNER is continuing to grow in the European region, with Germany as its core market. In the focused market segments, the area of fire protection for rail transport in particular has developed very positively. Thanks to its own research and development at its headquarters in Langenhagen, WAGNER has been able to maintain its technological and innovation leadership in the areas of fire detection and fire prevention.

In addition to the more than 700 patents granted, various international awards and certifications prove that the company offers innovative, future-oriented technologies with high-quality standards. The company is also focusing on new requirements resulting from the increasing digitalization in business and society. With a systematic and process-oriented management system for its own information security, WAGNER also ensures cyber security, for example - and was recently certified according to ISO 27001.

Better solution in fire protection

Company founder and managing director Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner is proud of the continuously successful development of the group of companies: "With our successful team both at headquarters and in the subsidiaries, we achieved the goals we set ourselves as part of our corporate strategy WAGNER.2026 in the past financial year. We have once again proven that with the better solution in fire protection and our strategic objectives, we have set the right course for our successful future."

"This is also demonstrated by the numerous awards we have received: from the awards as an employer of the future and as a TOP100 innovator to the nomination for the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award and product-specific awards such as the FeuerTrutz Award or the Fire India Award. We are also delighted that we were able to celebrate our subsidiaries in Poland and the USA their 15th and 10th anniversaries respectively. I would like to personally thank all employees at our 23 locations worldwide for their outstanding team performance."
