The WAGNER Group GmbH acquires a majority stake in A.F.I. Solutions, based in Saint Ouen l'Aumône, Greater Paris, France, thus continuing its expansion in the European economic area.

A.F.I. has established itself as a fire protection provider in the French market over the last 16 years and has grown successfully on its own in recent years.

In addition to sprinkler and water spray extinguishing systems, the system portfolio also includes foam extinguishing systems, gas extinguishing systems and powder extinguishing systems, container/skid systems, and special constructions. 

The family-owned company, which currently has 29 employees, will be integrated into the WAGNER Group as an independent subsidiary. The brand name A.F.I. Solutions will be retained for the time being.

internationalization strategy

"Our WAGNER.2026 strategy is a growth strategy. To ensure annual growth, we are focusing primarily on our continued, consistent internationalization," comments Torsten Wagner, Shareholder and Managing Director of WAGNER Group GmbH, on the successful transaction and the associated market entry. 

He adds, "In addition to North America and the Asia/Pacific economic region, we are also focusing on strengthening our market position within Europe. As the third largest economy in Europe, France is of central importance to us."

Torsten Wagner continues, "It was important to us that we gain a company for the group that has a solid market position, can continue to grow under its own steam, and shares the same values as we do as a family business."

He further states, "We have found these requirements in A.F.I. Solutions and are very pleased to be able to continue our successful future growth with an experienced team in France."

Jérôme Menard, Owner of A.F.I. Solutions will remain with the new WAGNER subsidiary as Managing Director and Minority Shareholder. He said, "By combining our respective strengths, the management of WAGNER Group GmbH and I see great opportunities for growth in France.

Jérôme Menard adds, "We will initially continue our existing business unchanged with the support of the WAGNER Group. In the future, we plan to profitably integrate our portfolio of solutions and services into the group. We are also looking forward to being able to offer our customers in France a more comprehensive range of services thanks to WAGNER's complementary portfolio of solutions and services."

dual management team

WAGNER will continuously and actively support the integration and further development of the new subsidiary into the Group from its headquarters in Langenhagen. As with all companies in the group, the subsidiary in France will also be managed by a dual management team.

With the acquisition of A.F.I. Solutions, WAGNER is represented by its subsidiaries in 15 countries.
