In the presence of Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister of Economics, the prize was presented to Steffen Springer and Katharina Rischer from WAGNER.

Clear digitalization strategy

The WAGNER Group received the award as an innovative company with a clear digitalization strategy

An evaluation matrix developed by experts from business and science was used to create a holistic picture of the company. The focus of the analysis was on the areas of modern leadership and employee friendliness. The WAGNER Group received the award as an innovative company with a clear digitalization strategy that pursues concrete, future-oriented sustainability goals and offers attractive working conditions.

Katharina Rischer, HR Manager at WAGNER, sees the award as confirmation of the course the company has strategically taken: "The world of work has changed massively in recent years. This applies to the demands placed on employees as well as to the demands that employees place on us as employers.”

Attractive working conditions

In addition to an innovative business model, these include attractive benefits, flat hierarchies, the flexible design of one's own workplace and the opportunity for further training in the spirit of lifelong learning. We have made many changes here in recent years and embarked on the journey into the new world of work with our employees."

Steffen Springer, Managing Director of WAGNER Group GmbH, adds: "With our WAGNER.2026 strategy, we are shaping global megatrends such as digitization and sustainability in our own way. The award as "Employer of the Future" honors our future orientation as a company and employer in terms of innovative spirit, digitization and the creation of attractive working conditions. We are very pleased about this."
