The company was thus able to meet the current market challenges - high inflation, rising energy costs and continued market uncertainty - by adapting to the changing environment and successfully maintaining and expanding its market position.

Positive development

A key driver of the company's positive development is internationalization

The family-owned company, which can already look back on its 48-year history, has been growing continuously for years and now employs around 800 people worldwide, 120 of whom work outside Germany.

A key driver of the company's positive development is internationalization, which WAGNER pursues strategically and consistently. The export rate is around 50% and rising. The most important export countries for WAGNER are currently the United Kingdom, Austria, the USA, and India.

Integrated fire protection solutions

In the business year 2023/24 WAGNER founded two new subsidiaries: WAGNER Fire Safety India and WAGNER Fire Safety DMCC in Dubai to develop local markets with integrated fire protection solutions. The first market successes have already been achieved in India.

The results also show that WAGNER continues to grow in the European region with Germany as the core market. In the focused market segments, fire protection for rail vehicles in particular has developed very positively.

fire detection and fire prevention

Thanks to in-house research and development at its headquarters in Langenhagen, WAGNER has been able to maintain its technology and innovation leadership in the areas of fire detection and fire prevention.

In addition to more than 700 granted patents, various international awards and certifications prove that the company offers innovative, future-oriented technologies with high-quality standards.

Digitalization of business and society

The company is also focusing on the new demands resulting from the increasing digitalization of business and society.

Company Founder and Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner is proud of the continued successful development of the group, stating: "With our successful team both at headquarters and in the subsidiaries, we have once again achieved a great performance in the past fiscal year, meeting our goals as set out in the WAGNER.2026 corporate strategy."

Better solution in fire protection

Werner Wagner added: "We have once again proven that we have set the right course for a successful future with the better solution in fire protection and our strategic goals. This is also demonstrated by the numerous awards we have received: From the Employer of the Future and TOP100 Innovator awards to the nomination for the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Prize and product-specific awards such as the FeuerTrutz Award or the Fire India Award.
