At the AMB 2022 event, the International Exhibition for Metalworking, taking place from September 13 to 17, 2022, in Stuttgart, the international fire protection solution provider WAGNER, based in Langenhagen near Hanover, will be presenting its technologies and systems for fire fighting using gas extinguishing technology for the production and machine tool sectors.

smoke detection systems

Another highlight at the trade fair is the aspirating smoke detection systems from the TITANUS ® product family for the earliest possible fire detection.

In this segment, in particular, the fire protection company is currently benefiting from stable supplier relationships and resilient supply chains. The holistic fire protection solutions for machine tools can be seen at stand 420.

FirExting Compact®

"There are various sources of risk in machine tools that can lead to fire, such as technical faults, but also flying sparks, heat development when using the machine, and the use of flammable liquids such as lubricating oils all pose fire risks. But a fire always has consequences: costly interruptions to operations, loss of reputation and market share, as well as repair and replacement costs," explains Stephan Otto-Keinke, Stuttgart Branch Manager of WAGNER Deutschland GmbH.

Stephan Otto-Keinke adds, "That is why we at WAGNER have designed a compact extinguishing system that combines fire detection and fire fighting using gas extinguishing - FirExting Compact®. It can be individually designed to suit local conditions and is VdS certified."

areas of application

The system works on the principle of removing the basis for a fire to spread further

WAGNER also relies entirely on the FirExting ® gas extinguishing system for firefighting in other areas of application, ensuring efficient, residue-free gas extinguishing without subsequent damage.

Using inert gases, carbon dioxide, or chemical extinguishing gases, the system works on the principle of removing the basis for a fire to spread further.

TITANUS® smoke detectors

Another focus of this trade fair is early fire detection with TITANUS ® aspirating smoke detectors. TITANUS® detectors form the basis of individual, holistic fire protection solutions. They detect fires at a very early stage so that suitable countermeasures can be initiated quickly.

TITANUS® is available in various versions with a wide range of accessories - for use in production and the machine tool sector, but also warehouses/logistics, data centers, archives/museums, hotels, and many more.

TITANUS® product family

This also includes TITANUS RACK·SENS®, specially designed for monitoring 19" equipment such as control cabinets in production.

At the AMB in Stuttgart, WAGNER will provide comprehensive information about the TITANUS® product family, its other areas of expertise in fire protection, and the global network of subsidiaries and strong partners with whom the fire protection company always offers its customers the best solution in fire protection.
