From May 31 to June 2, 2022, WAGNER will be presenting two highlights at LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intra-logistics solutions and process management in Stuttgart: fire protection solutions for extremely compact and automated container compact storage systems and for the storage of lithium-ion batteries, illustrated using the example of the customer project of KETTLER Alu-Rad GmbH.

As part of a panel discussion organized by LOGISTIK HEUTE, Managing Director Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner will discuss ‘Logistics real estate: fire protection and intralogistics’ with experts from the logistics and logistics real estate industry.

Uninterrupted supply chains, internal flow of goods: These are two of the topics that will be the focus of LogiMAT 2022 in Stuttgart this year. The fire protection solution provider - WAGNER will be presenting how important appropriate fire protection is at its stand C15 in Hall 7 from May 31 to June 2, 2022.

WAGNER’s solutions at LogiMAT 2022

LogiMAT 2022 highlights at WAGNER include solutions for protecting compact container storage facilities

The LogiMAT 2022 trade fair highlights at WAGNER include solutions for protecting compact container storage facilities and for the safe storage of lithium-ion batteries.

In addition to the high degree of automation, the so-called compact container storage facilities are characterized by an extremely compact design, which makes targeted firefighting with conventional extinguishing agents more difficult.

With the increasing automation in the warehousing and logistics sector, these storage systems have become indispensable today. We are receiving increasing numbers of inquiries for fire protection solutions for this type of storage and are pleased to be able to offer our customers a suitable and efficient solution with our systems for active fire prevention in combination with fire detection,” says Dipl.-Ing. Steffen Springer, Managing Director, WAGNER Group GmbH.

Fire protection for Storage of lithium-ion batteries

The storage of lithium-ion batteries places special demands on fire protection. In addition to the number of batteries stored, the battery charge level and the necessary safety distances between the batteries are particularly important aspects that must be taken into account.

Fire protection for the storage of lithium-ion batteries is always an individual solution because various factors are of crucial importance to varying degrees. At LogiMAT 2022, we will address exactly this and show, among other things, how we have developed the optimal solution for our customer KETTLER Alu-Rad GmbH,” explains Steffen Springer.

Fire protection solutions for other storage systems

Visitors also have the opportunity to find out about fire protection solutions for other storage systems

In addition to the two highlights, visitors to LogiMAT 2022 also have the opportunity to find out about fire protection solutions for other storage systems, such as high-bay warehouses, deep-freeze warehouses or shuttle systems at the WAGNER stand.

Trade fair visitors can experience live how the principle of active fire prevention by means of oxygen reduction works in an OxyReduct ® cabin at the stand.

‘Logistics real estate: fire protection and intralogistics - how to efficiently combine concepts for fire protection and intralogistics’ is the topic of the specialist forum in the LogiMAT 2022 conference program.

High-performance intralogistics concepts

On May 31st from 1 p.m., Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner, Managing Director and shareholder of WAGNER Group GmbH, will discuss with experts from logistics and logistics real estate practice how fire protection solutions and high-performance intralogistics concepts can be efficiently combined and what role the increasingly important storage of lithium-ion batteries plays in this.

The specialist forum is organized by the industry magazine - LOGISTIK HEUTE; Editor-in-Chief Matthias Pieringer will moderate.
