The WAGNER Group, headquartered in Langenhagen (Germany), has been developing and implementing holistic fire protection solutions for a wide range of industries and applications for decades.

As part of its strategic internationalization, WAGNER has now established a new national subsidiary in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The background to the decision to establish a subsidiary in the EMEA economic area is to be able to optimally support both existing and new projects with a local presence.

From Dubai, the subsidiary WAGNER Fire Safety DMCC will offer fire protection solutions for the entire Middle East.

"We see very high potential in this market, not least in cooperation with our OEM partners," says Steffen Springer, Managing Director of WAGNER Group GmbH.

Steffen Springer adds, "With Sandeep Hajra, who has intensively supervised the founding process of the new subsidiary, a competent manager with a high level of expertise and industry know-how is taking over the management of the company."

He continues, "He also knows the markets in the region from his work as managing director of WAGNER India and is therefore the ideal person for the development of the new subsidiary."

Sandeep Hajra explains, "Our activities will initially focus on the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Here we can benefit from an existing local network of planners and architects and thus provide the market with the best possible support."

WAGNER Fire Safety DMCC will have its first official presence on the market at Intersec 2024, in Dubai, UAE, from January 16 - 18, 2024. For WAGNER, this presence will focus on the areas of early fire detection and fire prevention through oxygen reduction. WAGNER can be found at Intersec in the German Pavilion at Stand 3-C31.
