Vetter, a trusted brand of IDEX Fire & Safety, has upgraded its Vetter Connectable Bags C.Tec 12 N (C-Tec), a device with toolless connection technology that ensures a high degree of stability and load capacity while lifting heavy objects in rescue operations such as collapsed buildings, trapped persons and natural disasters.

C-Tec combines requirements for lifting bags of heavy rescue and creates an innovative range of applications,” said Maria Hovanes, director of North American Loose Equipment & Tools for IDEX Fire & Safety. “C. Tec applies high forces and easy handling with unprecedented lifting height, performance and versatility in application.”

Without additional adapters

Toolless connection technology allows C. Tec to be ready for use within seconds

Toolless connection technology allows C. Tec to be ready for use within seconds. The integrated load plate guarantees a high level of stability and load-bearing capacity during the lifting process. Plus, the lifting of point loads and objects with sharp or pointed surfaces can be possible without additional adapters.

Other C-Tec features include:

  • Weight reduction: Reduced weight by more than 30% per bag as compared to the previous model, with zero compromises in lifting capacity and lifting height.
  • Valve improvement: More convenient access location with a connection fitting on the outer edge to prevent compromising.
  • Air requirement: Up to 20% less air requirement per bag, conserving resources and allowing the user to get the job done faster.

C-Tec can be used singly or combined, bringing together excellent lifting power and lifting height. C-Tec is available in two different sizes, three controllers and can be used in many different compressed air sources including a compressed air cylinder and a compressor.
