Congratulations to the Audiology team at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, who are the first physiology service in the UK to transition to the new Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS) 2020 standard.

The IQIPS standard is managed and delivered by UKAS and covers eight Physiological Science disciplines.

Laura Booth, Senior Assessment Manager for IQIPS had the following to say on this achievement, "Following the recent commencement of the transition of accreditation to the revised IQIPS standard v2 2020 for the UKAS IQIPS scheme, it is our pleasure to congratulate the Audiology team at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust as the first organization to gain accreditation to the revised standard."

She adds, "This achievement follows a great deal of hard work and is a testament to the team’s commitment to continual improvement and providing confidence to the children and families using their services."
