Twiceme Technology is entering the protective work gear segment and launching the first safety helmet ARMET together with the Swedish-innovative brand Guardio.
The Twiceme technology provides a fast and reliable safety tool in the workplace and takes Twiceme one step further to the vision of making vital info accessible – everywhere to everyone.
Twiceme x Guardio
In 2020, only a year after the launch of Twiceme technology in the market, they are expanding into the protective work gear segment. Together with the Swedish equipment producer - Guardio, the safety helmet ARMET with an integrated Twiceme technology device will be released.
The ARMET safety helmet is a piece of all-around safety personal protective equipment (PPE) and has integrated both Twiceme, for instant access to vital info, as well as a brain-protective tool provided by MIPS.
ARMET safety helmet
Safety helmets are just for any driver where workers are told to a higher risk of risking
The ARMET safety helmet is designed to provide safety and protection to physical laborers within many different industries.
The safety helmet is suitable for any industry where workers are exposed to a higher risk of endangering their safety and might suffer from a work-related accident.
High-risk industries are, for example, the construction industry, mountain rescue, firefighting, agriculture, forestry, mining, or workplaces with a risk of falling, such as roofing.
Recommendations of Public Health Agency of Sweden
The safety helmet was introduced at a digital press conference on May 13th with Guardio and Orange Business Services. The conference surrounded the subject of how digital solutions can provide safety and efficiency in the workplace, especially in the construction industry.
In accordance with the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten), the press conference was held digitally. During these challenging times, they wanted to do their part and arrange the press conference in the safest way possible and hinder the further spread of COVID-19.
- How Twiceme can supply safety and grant to a safe work part?
Especially in industries with frequent safety issues and high numbers of work-related accidents
The Twiceme technology could potentially provide life-saving value for many workers, especially in industries with frequent safety issues and high numbers of work-related accidents.
Aside from potentially saving the lives of exposed workers, Twiceme technology can contribute to a safe and protected atmosphere, making employees feel secure throughout the day at work. Looking after the employees’ protection is part of management’s moral responsibility, especially in industries with known safety issues and high numbers of work-related accidents.
Twiceme offers life-changing value in critical situations
A concerning safety issue at high-risk workplaces is that the people working there might not have quick and easy access to vital information about their colleagues in case of an emergency. The issue of lacking information about the patient (such as ICE-contacts and health issues) will, in turn, affect the first responders’ ability to help them. Instead of being informed and able to instantly provide help, they must first waste time on locating vital information about the person.
In critical situations where every minute counts, Twiceme could provide life-changing value. Through a quick scan with a smartphone, Twiceme will provide useful, accurate, and updated information - provided by the patients themselves.
The vision for Twiceme technology has always been to provide vital information and safety for everyone - everywhere. Entering the protective workwear segment is taking one step further toward fulfilling that goal.
Safety issues in the workplace
Construction sites are a particularly dangerous place for workers. Statistics provided by the Swedish Arbetsmiljöverket (Swedish Work Environment Authority) state that the construction industry has had the highest number of work-related injuries in the past ten years.
Many of these are severe and result in long-time leave of absence for the workers or, in the worst case, even death. Håll Nollan, a Swedish organization working towards putting an end to work-related injuries for construction workers, presented statistics on how often accidents occur on construction sites.
On average, they show that five severe injuries occur every single day which leads to a month, or longer, sick leave for the affected construction worker.
