C-TEC has scooped the coveted title of ‘Business of the Year' at a glittering Awards ceremony hosted by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

The company beat off stiff competition at the 2008 Wigan Business Awards to win the prestigious prize for growth, innovation and commitment to investment and economic development.

C-TEC's Director of Accounts, Linda Cunliffe, who collected the award, said: "Winning this award is a tremendous boost for C-TEC.

"We are absolutely delighted that our achievements have been recognised and are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication of the everyone that works at C-TEC.

"Hopefully the publicity generated by the award will attract yet more hard-working and talented people to join our dedicated team."
