Superior Uniform Group again earned 40th rank in the Apparel Magazine's 2010 list of Top 50 companies, up two positions from 2009.

Superior Uniform Group, Inc., designer and manufacturer of uniforms, image apparel and uniform accessories announced being named to Apparel Magazine's 2010 list of Top 50 companies, an honor achieved repeatedly during the past two decades.  Superior Uniform Group is ranked 40 this year, up two positions from 2009.

The list, which includes globally recognized brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren®, Nike® and J. Crew®, is compiled annually by Apparel magazine.  Ranked by profitability, this year's Apparel Top 50 companies are noted for their careful management of costs while delivering innovative products and investing in their strongest brands.

"We are proud to be recognized as a Top 50 company along with some truly outstanding apparel companies and brands. This reflects our flexibility and innovation as well as our on-trend uniform apparel design. Our strong in-house design team enables us to meet and exceed customer expectations for both our in-stock and custom apparel options. We offer fashionable, functional, comfortable and quality uniforms and image apparel at a competitive price—something employers and employees appreciate." said Michael Benstock, CEO of Superior Uniform Group.

Superior Uniform Group also provided financial and logistical assistance to its Port-au-Price, Haiti-based supplier, One World, helping them get back up and running just two weeks after the devastating earthquake.  In addition, the company has strong "green" initiatives in place that further its commitment to its corporate responsibility to adopt practices with due regard to their environmental impact.
