Pink 2AA ProPolymer sales will support Breast Cancer Research Institute
Perfect Mother's day gift, sales will help light the way to breast cancer cure. Streamlight has sold over 70,000 Pink Nano Lights, and hopes to make a sizeable donation to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Streamlight Inc., a leading provider of high-performance flashlights, has introduced a pink version of its popular 2AA ProPolymer flashlight. Designed to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer, the Pink 2AA ProPolymer will help light the way to a cure, with $1 from each sale going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The 2AA ProPolymer joins Streamlight's Pink Nano Light, a keychain light that Streamlight created last year to also support breast cancer research efforts. Since its introduction, Streamlight has sold over 70,000 Pink Nano Lights, and hopes to make a sizeable donation to the research organization, in combination with sales of the new Pink 2AA ProPolymer, later this year.

"Breast cancer has such a devastating impact on so many American women and their families, and Streamlight is proud to do its part to help raise money for a cure," said Loring Grove, Streamlight's Director of Marketing, and a breast cancer survivor. "These lights are a great way to show your support of the fight against breast cancer and to direct even more funding toward finding a cure for this disease. The 2AA ProPolymer is an extra-bright flashlight, and the Pink Nano can be attached to a jacket or key chain, and includes a key fob with the Pink Breast Cancer Ribbon symbol. They both make great gifts for Mother's Day."

The American Cancer Society reported that, among women, there were 192,370 new cases of invasive breast cancer and 40,170 deaths from the disease in 2009. The disease also affects men, with about 1,910 new cases of invasive breast cancer diagnosed and 410 deaths from the disease during the same period.

"These lights are a great way to show your support of the fight against breast cancer and to direct even more funding toward finding a cure for this disease."

The Pink 2AA ProPolymer features a Xenon gas filled bi-pin bulb which delivers 4,500 candela peak beam intensity and 9 lumens total measured system output. Powered by 2"AA" alkaline batteries, it provides a runtime of up to 4 continuous hours.

The light measure 6.3 inches in length, weighs 3.6 ounces, and is constructed of super tough nylon polymer. It features an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with scratch-resistant coating. The light also includes a convenient push-button tail switch.

The light comes with Streamlight's Limited Lifetime Warranty. For information on where to purchase the 2AA ProPolymer and the Pink Nano Light, contact Streamlight at (800) 523-7488 or visit the company's website.
