Contract description

Yarl's Wood is an immigration removal centre which accommodates a mix of single females and families with children. The centre's capacity is 405. 

Situated in Bedfordshire, the centre was originally opened in November 2001, but half of the building was subsequently damaged by fire the following year. As part of the re-development Fire Suppression systems were installed.
