Sepura - secure and reliable radio communication
A Malaysia-based office will give customers a valuable point of reference in the region
Sepura has opened a new office in Kuala Lumpur as part of the company's continuing global expansion.

With Sepura's business increasing in the Asian continent, a Malaysia-based office will give customers a valuable local point of reference in the region. Sepura has its headquarters in Cambridge UK, and offices in Germany, Korea, China and Jordan.

The official opening was performed by Jens Thostrup, SVP of Sales and Marketing for Sepura and was attended by Sapura Secured Technologies' senior management representatives. Sapura is Sepura's strategic partner in Malaysia. The ceremony was also attended by senior representatives from the Malaysian government and Mr Phil Kidner, Chairman of the TETRA Association.

Jens Thostrup said at the ceremony: "On the occasion of our office opening today I am delighted to award Sapura the official re-certification to service and repair our radios in Malaysia. This achievement is testimony of Sapura's continued ability to operate 24/7 support for mission critical systems and also complements Sepura's strategy to build and develop technical competency in the region".

Dato Rodzlan Akib Abu Bakar from Sapura Secured Technologies commented: "We have worked hard to deliver and maintain the high standards of service requested by Sepura. We are extremely proud of this recognition as it strengthens the partnership between our organisations and sends a positive and reassuring message to Sepura's growing customer base in Malaysia".

Kevin Graham, Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region, concluded: "The opening of a new satellite office emphasises our commitment to the Asia Pacific region and will help our customers take full advantage of the opportunities offered by Sepura's market-leading products."
