IGTC Chubb Fire Qatar will be performing the inspection, installation, and repair of fire safety systems in 53 schools and 26 kindergartens throughout Qatar.
International Gulf Trading Company (IGTC) -Chubb Fire Qatar, a leader in fire safety equipment, supplies and security solutions, has been awarded one of its largest projects to date from the Supreme Education Council. IGTC - Chubb Fire Qatar will be performing the inspection, installation, and repair of fire safety systems in 53 schools and 26 kindergartens throughout Qatar to ensure that all the locations meet stringent international standards.
The scope and complexity of this project is extremely demanding and requires IGTC- Chubb Fire's internationally trained team to deliver each school with the marked efficiency and attention to detail that has become synonymous with the company. Executing individual site surveys is the first step in bringing all fire safety systems up to code, after which IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar will submit a detailed report of needed repairs and installations to the Minster of Education. After the initial documentation is submitted the company will then begin to replace fire detection systems, pumps, and extinguishers all before September of this year. This extremely restrictive deadline is to ensure that the schools adhere to the highest safety standards before students return to their studies.
Over 6000 fire extinguishers will be replaced, serviced, or repaired - making this project one of the largest in IGTC- Chubb Fire's 28 years of operation in Qatar. All of the company's work is supported by an extensive 3 year maintenance agreement which will ameliorate the school's fire safety frameworks and safeguard the system from any malfunctions. The breadth of this project ultimately demonstrates IGTC-Chubb Fire's ability to facilitate advanced project management strategies that deliver increased efficiency.
