The fleet service company, BwFuhrparkService GmbH is procuring 76 forest firefighting vehicles (FlKfz WBBk) from Rosenbauer, on behalf of the German Armed Forces.

These forest firefighting vehicles are from the MT series of Rosenbauer. These vehicles are built according to the tactical needs of the fire services and equipped with the latest technology.

Not only do they have robust superstructures and high-quality extinguishing systems, they also have consistent LED light packages from the equipment room to the area lighting and all functions can be operated via displays.

Forest firefighting vehicles

The forest firefighting vehicles from Rosenbauer are built on Tatra T-815-7 4x4 Force, an off-road chassis that has been designed without compromise for robustness and off-road mobility.

The compact vehicles are powered by 395 hp Euro 6 engines, which means that the vehicles, which can weigh up to 18 tons, can also be moved quickly and efficiently over gravel roads and unpaved terrain. The wading depth is up to 1 meter. Water delivery is also possible while driving the Rosenbauer firefighting vehicles for forest fires.
