Rosenbauer is preparing intensively for the most important trade fair in the firefighting industry. "We are currently fully committed to this event," confirms Dieter Siegel, CEO of Rosenbauer International AG, "And will offer our guests a spectacular experience for all the senses."
Groundbreaking innovations, revolutionary unveilings, and a multimedia supporting program can be expected by visitors to the Rosenbauer exhibition booth at Interschutz in Hanover from June 20-25. The world's largest fire fighting equipment supplier will present a complete program for fire departments and, in particular, demonstrate its system competence in the issues of the future.
Emergency response organizations
The world is changing at a rapid pace, and with it that of fire departments and emergency response organizations. Climate change, electromobility, and digitalization are the major challenges facing society and will also play a central role in Rosenbauer's appearance at Interschutz 2022.
Rosenbauer will reveal the first electric type L32A-XS turntable ladder
Thus, following the introduction of the RT electric tank firefighting vehicle, the firefighting world can expect further developments in this field and will not be disappointed at the show. In addition to the RT, Rosenbauer will reveal the first electric type L32A-XS turntable ladder and showcase other electric emergency vehicles in a specially set up ‘Electric Urban Fire Station.’ Volvo is supplying the drive technology for the municipal vehicles on display.
Extinguishing battery fires
Electromobility (for fire departments) is also one of the main topics on the Rosenbauer trade fair stage. Specialist presentations, webinars, and discussions will be held here on a regular basis, underlining Rosenbauer's expertise on the issues beyond the products on display.
Here, it will be possible to talk to Rosenbauer experts about alternative fuels, autonomous energy systems, equipping fire stations for e-vehicles (charging infrastructure, photovoltaics, etc.), or extinguishing battery fires, among other things. The Berlin Fire Service will be represented with its RT (eLHF) at its own booth and will report on the experiences of the first months in regular use.
Early detection systems
Rosenbauer will also demonstrate how firefighting technology can be optimally networked
At Interschutz, Rosenbauer will also demonstrate how firefighting technology can be optimally networked and connected to the digital environment of smart cities, and how digital enhancements from the field of robotics and sensor technology can be logically integrated into firefighting technology.
One example of this is digital early detection systems for the prevention of forest fires, which Rosenbauer is currently researching and will report on at the trade fair. Another is the expansion of the range of robotic functions (search, extinguishing, rescue, etc.) and the further development of robots and drones into largely energy-autonomous auxiliary systems for firefighting operations.
Preventive fire protection
The topic of sustainability is also high on the trade show agenda. Rosenbauer will be demonstrating, for example, how modern operational hygiene can be put into practice, enabling emergency crews to better protect their health. The entire trade show appearance is also designed sustainably. For example, the exhibition booth was produced and set up in a CO2-neutral manner.
Rosenbauer will also be presenting all the latest innovations from the areas of preventive fire protection, customer service, simulators, and digital solutions, vehicles and extinguishing systems, and technical and personal protective equipment, including an online store. Everything from a system expertise perspective - and everything for this event: the expertise, innovative strength, and passion of all employees at Rosenbauer.
