Innovative online custom truck application to be launched at FDIC

Rosenbauer America will launch EZTruckbuilder.com during the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, IN on April 23, 2009 in the Rosenbauer booth #8731.

The online application will allow website visitors to configure their own custom fire apparatus entirely online. Once finished, a site visitor will also be able to download a color illustration of their apparatus along with truck details in PDF form.

Rosenbauer has provided site visitors with hundreds of possible truck configurations using the following categories:

  • Chassis types: Freightliner, IH, Spartan, Kenworth in two and four door set-ups
  • Pump control panels: top, side and safe scene
  • Body styles: three different lengths with optional roll-up or hinged doors
  • Paint Shop: 24 colors to choose from including the ability to two-tone and add reflective striping
  • Accessories: over 100 different spec and equipment options can be adjusted by the site visitor.
  • Finish & delivery: visitors can e-mail themselves a PDF of the truck specifications they created using EZTruckbuilder.com

The site was created to give firefighters the ability to examine many different truck configurations without delay. It's a real time truck building application.

Everyone of all ages and occupations is encouraged to visit the web site EZTruckbuilder.com. There is no obligation for using the web site; however, visitors can indicate if they would like to be contacted by a Rosenbauer sales representative.
