The new Rosenbauer hollow jet pipe RTE FX combines uncompromising technology, the highest material and manufacturing quality and a brand new, innovative operating concept. Its cubic shape is unique on the market and allows even inexperienced emergency personnel to immediately, intuitively correct understanding of all functionalities.
Thanks to the form-fitting design, all surfaces are aligned parallel in the fast attack position and the spray lance is automatically preset for internal attack: 235 l / min with a medium spray jet with a spray angle of approx. 40 degrees.
Clean spray pattern
This means that nozzle operators are optimally prepared for firefighting from the very first moment. Even in completely smoky rooms, in the dark or in absolute zero visibility, this basic setting guarantees safe operation of the nozzle. The dosing of the water output is finely tuned with the RTE FX hollow jet pipe via a slide valve.
In this way, a clean spray pattern can always be achieved and the fire-fighting can be made very flexible by opening and closing quickly. The valve is operated via a bracket that has been optimized in terms of length and shape and is very easy to hold. When the valve is closed, this points forwards and can be steplessly guided backwards until the full flow rate is reached.
High throwing distances
Three maximum flow rates can be preset: 40, 130 and 235 l / min for the RTE FX 235 EN hollow spray lance

In the form-fitting design of the RTE FX, the pre-set is the mean spray angle, which has an ideal ratio of throwing distance and jet width for internal attack. If the setting ring is turned to the left, the jet pattern becomes more and more a full jet, which with correspondingly high throwing distances (up to 35 m for the RTE FX 235 EN or 41 m for the RTE FX 400 EN) enables safe fire fighting over greater distances.
Protective shower head
If one turns to the right, they will reach the end position of an extremely wide spray jet that protects the attack force like a shield made of water, the so-called man protection shower. The turning paths are designed in such a way that a fine transition is possible over the entire jet range from full jet to protective shower head.
High-quality materials (anodized aluminum, stainless steel, glass fiber reinforced plastic) and innovative design elements make the RTE FX a very robust and maintenance-free tool. The spray head has a fixed ring gear made of aluminum and an FX absorber with built-in suspension in the front area, which absorbs the energy that affects the spray lance, for example, when a window is smashed.

The FX ERGO handle is equipped with knobs for optimal grip with fire brigade gloves and finger grooves for intuitive hand positioning. In addition, the handle design - tapering at the front, widening towards the back - ensures safe and fatigue-free work because the pressure is evenly distributed over the hand and the handle cannot twist.
At the rear there is a practical eyebolt on which the nozzle can be hooked, for example to make it easier to pull it up in stairwells and thus move forward more quickly. The new RTE FX hollow jet pipe will be launched on the market at the beginning of September and round off the Rosenbauer jet pipe range at the top.
proving digital competence
This includes products with outputs between 17 and 700 l / min, for normal (SELECT FLOW) and high pressure (NEPIRO) as well as the special nozzle PRO JET. With this portfolio, Rosenbauer always offers fire services all over the world the right nozzle.
The new RTE FX is also designed so that it can be operated immediately and intuitively correctly. In this way, it makes a particularly important contribution to the success of the fire at the moment when it comes to fighting a fire.
