Respirex’s new dielectric Class 3 safety footwear seeks to provide protection to a maximum working voltage of 26.5kV to EN 50321-1:2018. This new standard was introduced for insulating footwear for live working and published in 2018, replacing EN 50321:1999. Dielectric Class 3 safety boots are suitable for use in environments with a maximum working voltage of 26.5kV.

Available now, the Class 3 electrically insulating HV3 dielectric boots will keep the user safe and comfortable when working in environments with high voltage hazards. They have a lightweight design, with a high-visibility green HV3+ compound shaft on a slip-resistant vulcanized rubber sole (HV3+). Respirex’s HV3 boots allow live working up to 26.5kV with every boot tested at 30kV; ideal for power and substation operations, electrical installations and electrical hazards in wet conditions.
