He adds, “Known as ‘Your Fire and Rescue Service 2020-23, our Community Risk Management Plan sets out how we plan to protect homes, families, communities, businesses, and countryside across our diverse region in the coming years. It outlines how we prevent fires and other emergencies and make West Yorkshire safer."

He further said, “We have responded to the many challenges of recent years, including helping our community and partners throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and during major flooding and wildfires, and we want to ensure we continue to provide that risk protection in the future in the best way possible."
