Pierce, an Oshkosh Corporation company, has announced a sales territory expansion to serve first responders
Reliant Fire Apparatus has already sold more than 400 fire and rescue vehicles in Wisconsin

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) company, recently announced the expansion of the sales territory of Reliant Fire Apparatus, Inc.

The Pierce brand will now be represented in the state of Iowa in addition to its present territory of southern Wisconsin.“ Since 1994, Scott Krueger and the team at Reliant Fire Apparatus have been instrumental in our success in Wisconsin, and this territory expansion is a well deserved recognition of Reliant’s mission to serve first responders,” said Jim Johnson, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president, Fire & Emergency. “Prior to founding Reliant, Scott worked at Pierce for eight years, and he has tremendous expertise in helping departments define, design and specify the right equipment to meet any challenge.”

“We’re excited to grow our territory representing Pierce fire and rescue apparatus, and we look forward to taking our commitment to customer service to a larger piece of America’s heartland,” said Scott Krueger, president of Reliant Fire Apparatus, Inc. “We are setting up comprehensive sales and support capabilities across Iowa, and pledge to provide Iowa fire departments a new level of customer service.”

Since its inception, Reliant Fire Apparatus has sold and placed into service more than 400 Pierce fire and rescue vehicles in southern Wisconsin. The company has received Pierce’s Gold sales certification for five straight years. All sales personnel have experience working on volunteer or full time fire departments.
