Increase in military team members

Growing and supporting our military team members is one of our key priorities and over the past year, we’ve grown our military team members by 17%. We are proud to be named a Military Friendly Employer for the second year in a row, and we’re also excited to be a Supplier Diversity Program designee,” said Robert H. Military Friendly Employers is regarded as the most comprehensive, powerful resource for veterans today

Oshkosh Corporation has an active Military Network dedicated to recruiting, rallying and recognizing our military men and women.

First published in 2003, Military Friendly Employers is regarded as the most comprehensive, powerful resource for veterans today. Institutions earning the Military Friendly Employer designation were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 200 companies participated in the Military Friendly Employers portion of the 2019 Military Friendly Companies survey.

Input from Military Friendly Advisory Council

Methodology, criteria and weightings for Military Friendly Employers were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization's survey score with an assessment of its ability to meet thresholds for Applicant, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover and Promotion & Advancement of veterans and military employees.

The Military Friendly Supplier Diversity ratings are assessed through the evaluation of both public data about the organization and proprietary data gathered through the Military Friendly Supplier Diversity Program survey.
