OpenView Security Solutions, the UK’S largest privately owned independent security company and a national supplier of fire, electrical and mechanical services, is expanding its passive fire services capability to meet the increasing demand from both the public and private housing sectors.

A key part of this expansion strategy is the appointment of industry veteran Scott Pollock as Regional Fire and Life Safety Development Manager. In this new role, he will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing clients looking to install the latest fire and life safety solutions.

Veteran in fire and life safety industry

Scott Pollock has over 16 years’ experience in this sector including project design and management through to servicing, maintenance, commissioning and handover to meet all regulatory requirements.

He joins direct from Consilium Contracting Services, a provider of facilities management services where, as Fire and Security Operations Director, he was responsible for the strategy and organic growth of the division, exceeding all annual targets and KPIs. Scott also worked for Vipond Fire Protection, which specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of complete fire detection and suppression systems.
