The Red Book Pavilion will be launched at International Firex in May, and there are 3 stands left available to Red Book Listed companies on a first come first served basis. The stands are built in a distinctive LPCB red shell scheme and come with power, lighting, a table and two chairs.

The Red Book Pavilion is a unique opportunity for LPCB approved manufacturers to promote their products and the key values of third party certification.

The LPCB seminar programme will include presentations on:

  • Benefits of Certification and the approval process
  • The Fire Safety Order - A practical approach
  • Fire Safety Design of Buildings
  • Wireless and Voice Alarm Fire Detection
  • Integrated Fire Protection - Fire Grid
  • Network Systems
  • Fire Detection and Sprinkler Installers
  • Examining the different levels of security - what's appropriate where
  • Passive Fire - is it just a case of filling the caps
  • Detection in Large Spaces

In addition to the LPCB Red Book Pavilion this year International Firex will introduce a range of key seminars aimed at the end user sectors to include:

  • Hotels and B&Bs- Do You Have Paying Guests? Don't get burnt by fire safety legislation
  • Residential Landlords- Don't get burnt by fire safety legislation presented by LACORs (the Local Authorities Coordinators of Regulatory Services)
  • Care Homes- Do you know your fire safety responsibilities?

The seminars will provide expert advice regarding fire safety compliance, and representatives from West Midlands Fire Service will be on hand to provide the local fire authority viewpoint.

International Firex takes place every two years at the NEC in Birmingham. It is the fire industry's main showcase event and provides the industry with a platform to launch new products and engage with customers over a concentrated four day period.

Co-located with IFSEC, The Facilities Show, Fire & Rescue and Safety & Health Expo the events provide access to over 60,000 visitors form the UK and overseas many of whom do not attend other trade events.
