The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) is the pioneering nonprofit membership association representing the interests of volunteer firefighters, EMS providers, and rescue personnel. The NVFC values its members and strives to offer benefits and programs that address the critical needs of the fire, emergency medical, and rescue services. In order to continue providing the best services possible for the members, the NVFC is making some updates to its member dues rates and Virtual Classroom fees for non-members.

Starting on January 3, 2022, there will be a slight increase in the cost of membership with a new annual rate of $21. While the company works to keep their dues as low as possible, they do occasionally have to adjust the rates to be able to provide outstanding benefits and services for the members.

valuable benefits

The dues increase allows the NVFC to continue to offer valuable benefits, including:

  • All courses free in the NVFC Virtual Classroom
  • A $10,000 accidental death and dismemberment insurance policy through Provident
  • Educational discounts to online universities and fire service training
  • Access to friendly NVFC member advice and conversation in Volunteer Voices
  • Exclusive opportunities for giveaways, grants, and more!

In addition, the fee for Virtual Classroom courses for non-members will increase to $21 in January. This means that for the cost of just one course, NVFC members can access every course for free while taking advantage of all NVFC member benefits.

If one joins or renews prior to January 3, 2022, one will be able to take advantage of the current $18 rate. If one is not an NVFC member, join today to receive all of these great benefits while helping to further the important work of the NVFC.
