Nittan, UK fire detection manufacturer demonstrated its range at Firex 2011
Nittan specialises in premium fire detection systems

Following a busy two year period of planned product growth, UK fire detection manufacturer Nittan showcased its most comprehensive ever range of conventional and analogue addressable fire safety products at this year’s International Firex.

The Evolution range was the main focus of Nittan’s new stand at the show.  Evolution is a premium fire system developed by Nittan that uses ASIC technology in the sensors and sophisticated detection algorithms, combining extremely reliable fire detection together with a very high degree of protection against unwanted false alarms.  It’s advanced, highly flexible protocol, is not only uniquely resistant to noise, but also allows for substantial amounts of information to be transmitted at high speed.

The Evolution product range incorporates units suitable for an exceptionally wide range of commercial and industrial applications, including the recently launched EV-PS analogue addressable photoelectric smoke sensor with built in sounder and the 0KB3 conventional smoke detector for industrial use where space is at a premium.

Also on show was Nittan’s Evolution Analogue EV-DPH dual optical / heat detector; Evolution Sounder Beacon bases with and without dual short circuit isolators; a selection of manual call points (with and without dual short circuit isolators); and a range of modules.
