Nittan is pleased to announce a new enhanced version of the EV-Firebeam Xtra loop-powered beam detector.

The new EV-Firebeam Xtra SCI now incorporates the advantages of the EV-Mini IP2 Mini Input Module with Short Circuit Isolator. It provides a reliable, cost-effective solution to report Alarm on Nittan Evolution Addressable Fire Alarm Systems even when protecting large areas.

Cost-Effective solution

Together with class-leading features, the device is VdS approved and fully compliant to EN 54-12:2015

Building movement and accessibility have, in the past, made beam detection unreliable, difficult, and time-consuming to commission as well as hard to maintain. But the EV-Firebeam Xtra SCI overcomes these issues through its advanced motorized technology.

The beam aligns itself to the center of the reflector when commissioning and will automatically re-align itself when building movement occurs. Together with class-leading features, the device is VdS approved and fully compliant to EN 54-12:2015.

The standard Fire Beam Xtra package comes complete with the head unit, the low-level controller, and a single reflector, which will enable the users to cover distances up to 70 meters. To cover distances over 70 meters, there is Mid-range and Long-range kit available, covering 70-140m & 140-160m respectively.
