Nittan Europe’s Managing Director Yoshiaki Kadokura makes the following statement regarding the company’s functioning during these difficult times: “We are experiencing an unprecedented crisis with the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, and there remain many uncertainties as to how the situation may develop in the near future."

"Our thoughts and hearts go to everyone affected by this outbreak, and we greatly appreciate the healthcare workers and all who are on the front line, working hard to contain this virus, so that we can be safe and resume our normal daily lives as soon as possible. As a pillar of our business sector, we are responsible during these times to cooperate with our customers and partners to overcome the challenges being faced, as we work together through this difficult period.”

Safety first

“Nittan Europe Limited have been taking all necessary actions in accordance with the developing situation plus the instruction and advice issued by the government. In light of the latest UK Government measures, we have further enhanced our actions. In the meantime, we understand that the Key Worker status is extended to all fire safety personnel actively working to improve or to maintain public fire safety, and we are in an important position to keep serving them.”

“Our priority is to ensure our customers, our partners and our employees continue to stay safe and healthy. We are currently refraining from visits to and from customer and partner premises, however we continue to communicate via alternative methods. We have temporarily ceased our customer training courses, with all scheduled training courses postponed until further notice. Once we are able to recommence our training courses, we will advise you accordingly."

Continuing to serve

We have a business continuity plan in place and our key operations continue as usual"

"We have introduced enhanced hygiene practices for the safety of all employees and have swiftly implemented ‘a work from home strategy’ for staff who are able to carry out their tasks remotely. We have also introduced special arrangements for staff to avoid commuting by public-transport, as well as relocating work-spaces to provide enhanced segregation, or isolated workspace for all employees remaining in our premises.”

“We have a business continuity plan in place and our key operations continue as usual. During this time, when so many extra precautionary measures have been implemented, you may experience some variances to our usual practice when liaising with us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your kind understanding and forbearance. To date the processing and shipping of orders continue as usual."

global supply chains

"We have global supply chains, which so far are not affected, and we hold sufficient stock of goods to ensure continued supply. Our technical support and customer services team remain available to take your enquiries as usual. We are also equipped to hold customer and supplier meetings via telephone and other conferencing technology, both in the UK as well as across Europe.”

“We recognize that these are unsettling times, but I have every confidence in the ability of Nittan to continue supporting our customers, our partners and our employees. We want you to know that Nittan remains here for you. I will end this communication with this wish from all of us at Nittan Europe Limited – that you continue to stay healthy and strong. Please look after yourselves and look out for each other.”
